Lindsay Vohn, Gabby Douglas, Serena Williams… the list goes on! Through sports, these women created a new vision for the potential of young women as leaders and role models. Knowing the impact and influence athletics can have on the future of young women, the 28 Days Project is partnering NJ-based girl’s lacrosse club team, T3 Lacrosse.
T3’s mission is to inspire girls to reach their full potential – on and off the field. Players learn teamwork, self-confidence, leadership, physical endurance, skills and knowledge, and even how to cope with loss. These skills empower players to take their physical and emotional well being into the classroom, when engaging with their families and friends, and in setting future goals.
T3's strategy is to help young women lay the foundation of training to succeed as a way of life: a strong work ethic leads to long-term success and the effort put in directly affects the player – and others around them.
Collections Enable Other Girls to Succeed
This year, T3 is collecting feminine products for the 28 Days Project at most of their tournaments. These donations are used by the 28 Days Project to fulfill the needs of our partners, specifically in schools.
