This is a fun story to tell! In January, the 28 Days Project attended the Women's March in NYC and handed out small packets of tampons and pads with a message about our program and how to support us.
A month later, we received an email from Kate O'Grady who was at the march and received one of those packets. She and her mother Cyndi have started a non-profit called Path of Paper, helping women fight poverty in Uganda with handmade fair trade jewelry made from recycled paper. All proceeds go directly to the women who make the bracelets.
We started to brainstorm on how we can partner to provide women in Uganda with support for their periods. Shipping products to Uganda is expensive - so rather than sending products, we decided to send more customers to Path of Paper to increase the bottom line income for the women who make the beautiful jewelry!
Join the partnership and show your support for this organization and our mission by purchasing the 28 Days Project bracelet set. It makes the perfect Mother's Day gift!
